Assessing the Impact of IoT for Sustainable Aquaculture and Mangrove Conservation in Indonesia – Research on Use Cases and Their Social and Environmental Impact

The project is funded by GSMA M4D, ICENERGY Institute implements an impact assessment project on the adoption of IoT technology in Indonesia’s shrimp aquaculture sector. The study aims to explore IoT applications in sustainable shrimp aquaculture in Indonesia, assessing their environmental and socio-economic impacts, developing best practices, and designing a MEL framework to support sustainable shrimp farming, mangrove conservation, and long-term collaboration among key stakeholders.
